A fire, a death, and a horrible bridge collapse in Philadelphia on 06/11/2023.

Details:

• A tanker truck caught fire causing a collapse of a portion of I-95.
• All lanes were closed in both directions, and human remains were found at the site.
• Family members identified the driver.
• Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the tanker being overturned which caused the 8,500 gallons of gasoline it was carrying to catch fire, which in turn led to the collapse of an elevated section of I-95.
• Pennsylvania Governor issued a disaster declaration.
